The London Merchant Navy Association whose members first got together in May 2000 meet at 14.00 hours on the 2nd Saturday in each month at East Ham Conservative Club 1 Vicarage Lane (off High Street South)East Ham, London E6 6AD. High Street South is well served by public transport and all buses from Canning Town DLR and Jubilee Line and East Ham District Line stop within a few yards of the Club. For car drivers there is a private car park with ample space behind the Club building. Meetings usually last between 1 1/2 to 2 hours during which business is conducted, a yarn or two spun and the all important pint supped; an opportunity to meet and make new friends in a convivial atmosphere. Since its inception membership of the London Merchant Navy Association has enabled veteran seafarers to take part in many national and international commemorative events |

The London Merchant Navy Association commemorates Merchant Navy Day 3rd September each year with a Church Service in All Hallows By The Tower followed by Observance and the laying of wreaths at the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleet Memorial in Trinity Square Gardens, Tower Hill. |
